Our client is looking for a dedicated and motivated Registered Manager to lead and manage a brand-new 2-bed EBD home in Wolverhampton.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the 2-bed residential home for children with EBD.
- Ensure the home meets and maintains high standards in line with Ofsted regulations.
- Lead and manage the staff team, providing support, guidance, and supervision.
- Ensure the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and support for children in the home.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of each child.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and external stakeholders.
- Manage budgets, staffing, and resources to ensure efficient running of the home.
- Ensure the home remains compliant with all legislative and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- At least 2 years’ experience managing a children’s residential home.
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and children’s home legislation.
- Demonstrable experience in working with children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Passion for delivering high-quality care and making a difference in children’s lives.
- Full UK driving license.
