Our client is looking for a dedicated and motivated Registered Manager to lead and manage a brand-new 2-bed EBD home in Wolverhampton.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the 2-bed residential home for children with EBD.
  • Ensure the home meets and maintains high standards in line with Ofsted regulations.
  • Lead and manage the staff team, providing support, guidance, and supervision.
  • Ensure the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and support for children in the home.
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of each child.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and external stakeholders.
  • Manage budgets, staffing, and resources to ensure efficient running of the home.
  • Ensure the home remains compliant with all legislative and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • At least 2 years’ experience managing a children’s residential home.
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and children’s home legislation.
  • Demonstrable experience in working with children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality care and making a difference in children’s lives.
  • Full UK driving license.
