This service is designed to support children and young people with learning disabilities, providing them with a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the children’s residential home.
- Ensure the highest standards of care and support for children and young people with learning disabilities.
- Lead and supervise a team of dedicated care professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of each child.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, achieving a good or outstanding grade in Ofsted inspections.
- Foster strong relationships with children, families, staff, and external agencies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Recent experience as a Registered Manager within a children’s residential service supporting children and young people with learning disabilities.
- Minimum Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People’s Workforce.
- Level 5 in Leadership and Management or an equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in leading and supervising a team within a residential childcare setting.
- A track record of achieving a good or outstanding grade in recent Ofsted inspections.
- Full UK manual driving license.
