We are working in partnership with our client to recruit a dedicated Deputy Children’s Home Manager for a brand-new 1-bed service supporting a young person with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), based in Greenford, London.

Deputy Children’s Home Manager – 1-Bed EBD Service
Location: Greenford, London
Salary: £18.62 per hour | 40 hours per week
Sleep-In Rate: £70.50 per night

 

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new provision from the very beginning, helping to shape a high-quality, person-centred environment that supports positive outcomes for children and young people.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Registered Manager in the daily running of the home
  • Lead and mentor staff to deliver consistent, therapeutic care
  • Ensure the home meets Ofsted and safeguarding standards
  • Support with care planning, risk assessments and incident management
  • Work in partnership with families, social workers and other professionals
  • Promote a nurturing, structured environment that meets the emotional and developmental needs of the young person

 

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – essential
  • Full UK Driving Licence – essential
  • Experience supporting children and young people with EBD
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and residential childcare regulations
  • Flexible to work variable shifts across a 7-day rota, including weekends and sleep-ins
  • Confident, resilient, and emotionally intelligent leadership skills
